I have been writing for as long as I can remember, although my earliest memory involving writing, is perhaps from primary school when I wrote my first book “The Adventures of King Michael and The Wizards” (although I would like to think I have improved since then). I cannot specify exactly why I write, only that I cannot imagine life without it. Writing is a part of who I am and informs almost everything I do. I grew up surrounded by stories; from those that my parents used to read to me, to the music that they played, which often heavily relied upon mythology and folklore. I think of storytelling as being intrinsically part of my DNA.
I am now an MA publishing student at the University of Central Lancashire as well as a freelance writer.
